Ben Vinson III

Ben Vinson III (* 1970^[1]) ist ein US-amerikanischer Historiker und Professor der Harvard University.^[2] Er ist seit 2024 Mitglied der American Academy of Arts and Sciences^[3] und amtiert 2025 als Präsident der American Historical Association (AHA)^[4].

Vom September 2023 bis 31. August 2025 war Vinson Präsident der Howard University.^[5] Davor war er in der Verwaltungsleitung der Case Western Reserve University tätig. Vinsons Forschungsschwerpunkt ist die afrikanische Diaspora mit Schwerpunkt auf Lateinamerika.^[2]
