Alainthesius ist eine Gattung mariner Krabben mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 72 und 509 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik.[2]
Merkmale
Die Gattung hat die Merkmale der Megaesthesiinae. Der Carapax wird bis zu 5,6 mm lang. Das zweite Gonopodium ist länger als das erste und hat ein langes Endglied.[2]
