Adia Harvey Wingfield

Adia Harvey Wingfield (* 21. Januar 1977^[1]) ist eine US-amerikanische Soziologin und Professorin der Washington University in St. Louis.^[2] 2024 wurde sie in die American Academy of Arts and Sciences gewählt^[3] und 2025 zur Präsidentin der American Sociological Association (ASA).^[4]

Wingfield, die an der Johns Hopkins University zur Ph.D. promoviert wurde, untersucht in ihren Forschungen, wie sich Überschneidungen (Intersektionalität) in den Kategorien Race („Rasse“), Geschlecht und Klasse auf soziale Prozesse am Arbeitsplatz auswirken.^[2]
